ISS provides state-of-the-art electronic security system integrated with traffic control, CCTV and fire alarm/Alert system.

In 1954 members of the community got together and donated time, money, and effort to found The Evergreen Volunteer Fire Department. Countless hours have been given to help save life and property in the district.
Renamed Evergreen Fire Rescue in 2007, The District added an ambulance transport service in addition to fire supression. In 2010, the Evergreen Fire District completed construction on a new Fire Station, Station 81, to keep up with the needs of the firefighters and the community for decades to come.

The Challenge:
Evergreen Fire District needed a complete security system for their new station. The system was to integrate with both the Fire Alarm System, Alert System (Mass Notification), traffic control and monitoring outside the station.

The Solution:
ISS designed, engineered, installed and currently maintains the ESS system for Station 81. The state of the art system is customized for functions unique to fire and rescue and fully integrated with the Fire Station Alerting System.

When an Alert (Mass Notification) is sounded:

• the system begins to record traffic outside the station
• opens the bay doors
• initiates the traffic warning signal
• shuts off gas to the station’s kitchen
• operates all lighting and intercoms throughout the station
• turns on indoor vehicle exhaust fans
• sounds a wake-up alarm and lights to sleeping quarters
  

The security of the station itself includes card readers, a video call box, interior and exterior cameras, and other components of a standard ACS and IDS system, all integrated with the Fire Alarm and Alerting system.
